Update is probably going to be a bitch.

Go ahead, write a meta-pkg for gnome. I'm not sure it will fare so good with
updates.

Then again, with manual installs, it might be slightly better off than it
used to be.

But hey, when you run into library updates issues, it might take a while
until I fix the darn bugs.

First thing, this package is intended for little sisters. They don't
have meta-physical questions like that.

Second, at(1) mails root about what it did, so no need to check syslog.

Third, RUN_DEPENDS only ports are forbidden, ask espie@ about that.

I read DESCR, and still don't understand why it's done the way it is
done.

I think run_depend would be more transparent solution here IMHO. If
installation fails for any reason user will not see this, he needs to
check syslog to see what happen. Executing script with pkg_add(1) from
at(1) looks simple at first sight, but if something goes wrong.

Maybe MESSAGE during install? Some people may get surprised 'what
happen' or 'when that happen' after simple pkg_add sis-gnome.

2011-09-17 Thread Sebastian Reitenbach
CVSROOT:/cvs
Module name:ports
Changes by: sebas...@cvs.openbsd.org2011/09/17 01:26:08

Log message:
import GNUstep SQLClient framework:

The SQLClient library is designed to provide a simple interface to SQL
databases for GNUstep applications. It does not attempt the sort of
abstraction provided by the much more sophisticated GDL2 library but
rather allows applications to directly execute SQL queries and
statements.

SQLClient provides for the Objective-C programmer much the same thing
that JDBC provides for the Java programmer.
