John, I guess I should have mentioned that that's the hook from the song "Summer Teeth." It's a really catchy song. I haven't analyzed it but after a few listens I believe the song is a bout nothing but a dream that makes no sense. I saw these guys (Rosavelt) in Memphis at the 1998 Crossroads. They sounded great and the crowd seemed to dig it. Unfortunately, they came to see us play one of our worse gigs to date. OUCH! Bob
Rock is alive at Petty's house!
Letterman definitely didn't snuff Petty tonight. He must have told the audience to buy Petty's new CD "Echo" about 5 times. Great song, great band! The solo gave me goose bumps. Letterman thanked Petty for a great rock record and said that he was afraid that rock was dead and Petty replied "Rock is alive at my house!" I've got a room at the top of the world tonight and I ain't coming down. Rock On, Bob
