Which also included some members of the Meat Purveyors??

No, we just cover their song, "Dempsey Nash." Or, as they spell it, "Dimsey
Naish." Or something like that. Although Purveyor Bill is on many fine
Daniel Johnston records including the latest.

Hey there,

John...
Daniel is finishing up a record for Tim/Kerr Records of Portland, OR.
That should be out any day now. The new stuff was produced by Brian
Beattie, former member of the influential '80's avant-pop band Glass
Eye (along with K McCarty and Stella Weir).
Which also included some members of the Meat Purveyors??

Brian produced "Dead Dog's Eyeball" McCarty's album of Daniel
Johnston's songs.
Which is a _fantastic_ CD if you can find it.

Later...
CK with nothing much to add.

p.p.s. recording I'm espcially excited about right now: Daniel Johnston's
 new one. Good god almighty.

This flew underneath my radar until now. Is Johnston still on Atlantic?
Is he working with Paul Leary? How is he doing?
