When is that, mid March?  Oh yeah, we have a festival here in Dee-Troyt that
time as well called The Hamtramck Blowout, and it's pretty much the same
thing.  Seventy of the Motor City's best ass-kissing bands playing a bunch of
local venues for FREE with the proceeds going to fund The Detroit Music
Awards, which honores the same 5 or 6 local acts every year (want to be "in
the know" around here? Just mention the name Jill Jack).

P2 bands @ SXSW?

So, in light of the SXW-bashing that went on in these parts earlier this week,
are there any P2-related bands making the trek to SXSW this year? Curious for
professional reasons.

Neil et. al.,

I'll be playing SXSW Liberty Lunch at 9pm on Wednesday March 17th, with
the Silos as my band (Walter Salas-Humara on Drums!!). It should be fun.

As far as other P2 related bands go, I saw the Meat Purveyors on the list.
I'm sure there are more??
