DMARC quarantine results
These are the failing reports from DMARC set to quarantine. Most failures are for SPF, which now I gather from the other post is due to remailing. {Originally I thought the comment was about me using a remailer.] It looks like if you pass DKIM, most ESPs just pass on the message. Since nobody I know personally is rejecting my email due to DMARC, does it make sense just to set the DMARC to reject and watch the bounced emails? I'm assuming the failures are on listserves. It seems to me dealing with bounced emails is less work that reading these reports. Cloud9 is probably from the postfix listserve. ;-) --- FROM GOOGLE: 2607:f140:0:1000::d is UC Berkeley http://www.ip2location.com/2607%3Af140%3A0%3A1000%3A%3Ad 2607:f140:0:1000::d 1 none fail fail looks forwarded, downgrade to quarantine with phishing warning MYDOMAIN MYDOMAIN fail MYDOMAIN fail 207.46.163.236 is Microsoft http://www.ip2location.com/207.46.163.236 207.46.163.236 1 none pass fail MYOTHERDOMAIN pass cuesta.edu none 207.46.163.140 is Microsoft http://www.ip2location.com/207.46.163.140 207.46.163.140 1 none pass fail - FROM HOTMAIL: 168.100.1.7 is Cloud 9 http://www.ip2location.com/168.100.1.7 168.100.1.7 27 none pass fail 74.125.82.54 is google http://www.ip2location.com/74.125.82.54 74.125.82.54 1 none pass fail --

I saw one featured in a howtoforge article called Autoresponse 1.6.3 but that has been taken down, which is unfortunate, because how it worked, sending an email to an address sounded great for my needs. If anyone has this, or has any suggestions i'd appreciate them. I have looked on the postfix page and the autoresponders there are paid products, and the one that isn't uses an LDAP format which I am not using. Hi, you can take a look at Modoboa (http://modoboa.org/), it provides an autoresponder. Antoine Nguyen

In addition to sieve which was already mentioned the vacation script that comes with postfixadmin can be installed and work independently of postfixadmin. There are plugins for roundcube (and I think squirrlmail) to interface with it, and it's not difficult to write your own as it simply requires updating SQL tables. Again, you do need to get it with postfixadmin, but it can be installed and used independently and does not actually require postfixadmin to run. Peter
Mail "filters" suggestions
I currently use amavis-new as the mail filter on all the mta sites i have anything to do with and it seems to do a good job. But when I read this list it is obviously not the only one. I don't want to start a slanging match, but i would be interested to know what other people are using and why. Is amavis-new the "best" choice?
