Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh...
a question that I seem to have (but cannot find the answer to) is how much RAM can I install into this thing? I know there are two different types, and what is the largest size I can get this mac to use? I want to put 10 on it with 512 mb ram but that is probably not going to happen! apple's guide says 128, and a 128 I bought on a single chip only shows up assd 64MB. what do I need to get this to the most? -- PowerBooks is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... MacTracker says the same thing and adds that the DIMMs are 5v. Perhaps the problem is with chip density. That is, the size of the RAM chips on the DIMM that make up the 128MB. There are two different versions of this. If you have a PPC upgrade board, you absolutely need the revision C version.
