I need a battery for my 5300cs. I'm in Canada, so shipping will be
more, but I don't mind paying more than US$15.

Peace,
  Eddie

Re: Intelligent Battery

2005-08-27 Thread Eddie Roosenmaallen
I'm having the same trouble with my pb520 -- IBR tells me to send the
battery back to Apple, even after multiple (4 or 5) runs.

Does anyone have a copy of EMMpathy? I've tried Googling for it, but
all the download links seem to be long outdated.

Thanks!
  Eddie

Re: OT - OS X shadow files?

2005-08-04 Thread Eddie Roosenmaallen
These files are not on the Mac as individual files. The reason they
show up on the 'doze machine is that the Mac filesystem stores
additional data about each file (the "Resource fork"), which no other
filesystem supports.

MacOS seems to add these files on the 'doze side to preserve the
metadata from the resource fork. Unfortunately, I have not found a way
to keep the Mac from creating these files.
