Hi,
on 9.2.2 there are not too much choces.
AFAIK there are
Internet Explorer 5.x
Netscape 7
iCab 2.x
Explorer is already out. So try the other ones. iCab you can find
at www.icab.de. There should be a free version and iCab is the only
one for OS Classic which is still under development.
I recommend WaMCom 1.3.1:

Duo 2300 IDE cable/bracket needed...

2004-05-24 Thread Nathan Raymond
I just got a 2300 motherboard off of ebay to upgrade my 280c, and found
out it doesn't come with the cable and I can't use an IDE drive with it
without one. It is Apple part # 922-1864. On top of that, I found out I
need an adapter bracket to use a modern IDE drive with the Duo 2300:

http://www.powerbook1.com/ms.html

"About Mounting Brackets: If you have a PowerBook 1400, 5300, 190, or Duo
2300 then you will need a new mounting bracket in order to properly
install any of the above drives into your system. All of the hard drive
manufacturers that MCE and Apple use as components for their PowerBook
products have changed the location of the mounting holes on their hard
drives to the far corners of the drive to make more room inside the drive.
The original hard drive brackets which are inside the PB 1400, PB
5300/190, and Duo 2300 systems will not properly mount the new drives, as
they were designed for the older, lower capacity drives with the older
mounting hole positions. The bracket kit for the PowerBook 5300, 190, and
Duo 2300 is available separately (MCE Part # BRKT5323), as is the bracket
for the PowerBook 1400 (MCE Part # BRKT1400)."

I'm going to give MCE a call and see if they carry the IDE cable as well
as the bracket, but I was wondering if anyone else had any sources for
these parts?

Thanks in advance,
Nate
