Yup...I've pressed the RAM card down as far as it goes, and have
re-seated it at least 5 times.

Thanks,
Ian

3400c RAM card

2006-02-19 Thread Ian Nixon

Hi...

My 3400c is only recognizing my RAM card at certain times...I've got a
32MB card in, and it is known-good, but the 3400c doesn't even see it
most of the time I power up. I don't get any messages that the RAM
card is damaged; call tech support, etc...

Any help would be appreciated :-)

Ian

Is it firmly seated in the socket ? Sometimes the RAM card can get
loose. Later versions of the 3400 came with a small strip of foam on
the keyboard that would help press the RAM card in the socket.

Re: 3400c RAM card

2006-02-19 Thread mike chew
Hi everybody, I have Kingston CF card 512MB with pcmcia adapter in PB3400
slot but first I reformatted it using SilverLining v5.6 to HFS format on my
G3 Beige, always recognised by my 3400, no problems, very stable, mike.
