I'm at a loss to find the link for the distributor though.  Digging
for it now - although I do recall that they weren't cheap.  $300+ for
a 10 gig drive that will go in any SCSI PowerBook.

*sigh* I'll post it when I find it in my 200+ "Favorites" listing.

Hi thats the type of response that i thought i might get back
I take it that she has moved to windows well if so and she still cannot get
off list then all she needs to do is block the mail sent from the lists at
the server.

does not take long and she can also do it by phone rarther than online if
her isp has a help desk or reset her prefs folder to filter the lists mail
to a seperate box and then all she has to do is delete it (or if she has the
urge later maybe in a month or so have a read of some )before she deletes .


and really this is not a burden also  noone is stuck if they are a free
person.

Yes, but the lady in question is having a problem that does not need
to be complicated by telling her to get a Mac again.  She, as anyone,
would be happier and more grateful to people who helped her out of her
problem rather than compounded it.

I know you probably meant well but think about this:
Which would you rather re-subscribe to?  A list that helped you
unsubscribe despite numerous attempts to do so and let you go freely.
or a list that made jokes that translate as "you really should just
sit down and enjoy the place you're stuck in."
