I have lots of 500s and two Duos that I never use. They all kindof work, but most have problems (especially the 500s). I have a couple of 1400's a 133 and a 166. The 133 was my regular machine and I went to put a new pram battery in it and I had the slot for the modem card cocked but it booted ok. I took it back apart and straightened that back out and broke a speaker wire and it never booted again. It also has another motherboard, as the mobo for it originally had bad battery contacts and would only run with the power supply connected. I also have 1 new battery but don't know the condition of none at present. As far as the 166 goes, I went to put another hard drive in it and it hasn't worked since. Both machines worked good and the screens worked fine also. I think one of the machines had 48 megs or better. Make offer? A good friend has a 520c, I know he'd be willing to part with. I replaced the internal video cable in it as it was torn, but I believe that when it was torn it shorted and took out the video chip on the main board, I am not sure though, it could be one of the boards inside the screen housing. The lcd is good, but it is not getting a video signal. The system still boots up, you just can't see what your doing with it rendering it useless, but it does still have lots of good parts in it, and a working 7.5 install on the drive.. Make an offer.
