What is this nonsense about compatibility? Every wordprocesser is compatible
with any other. I use Scorpio as my basic wordprocesser. I own my own copy. It
will unformat any worprocessor's output. The only machine I cannot use as a
text-file producer is Commodore 64. But, since my Commodore 128 has CPM
ability, I can run Word Star on it. Thus, transfer Commodore 64, to a text
file, move it to CPM. Then Move that text file to my TRS-80 Model 4, which can
transfer that to MS-DOS, and voila!! Apple or Macintosh for ever.

The problems come in, not with wordprocessing but, when pictures are formatted
into the text. But with Scorpio, who needs the pictures.

I love old computers and what they can do. I was a horrible typewriter, even
electric, and I celebrated when I bought Alwrite for the TRS-80 Model 4,
probably the best wordprocessor ever made. I buried that electric typwriter in
our gardon and planted green beans over it. P-) Can you imagine having a
computer that freezes up if you accidentally leave a diskette in drive A? Which
machine does that?
