Duration: 1 year contract. *There will be an on-site interview after a phone interview* *Consultant with medical exp is given first preference. * Responsible for the software application and development processes to analyze, design, develop, test, implement and enhance software products. *Complete Description:* The Software Validation Engineer is responsible for performing software Validation activities as part of the overall software development process for medical device data management products. *The primary responsibilities are:* Analyze product requirement and design specifications and develop test scripts that will verify that the product functionality meets the software requirements. - Plan and implement test configurations involving manual setup of medical analyzers and computer servers and clients. - Participate in peer reviews of requirements, design specifications, validation plans and test scripts. - Interact with project validation and development personnel. *Candidate should have experience in the following:* - Knowledge of how software verification/validation activities integrate within a software development process - GUI, regression, black box, performance, back-end, stress and load testing - Developing test scripts from requirement and design documents - Manual test script execution - Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel *Experience with the following technologies would be a plus:* - Automated testing tools such as QTP and Rational Robot - Install testing - Performance testing - FDA Design Control regulations - Communication protocols such as HL7 and ASTM - SQL Server Thanks Regards Raj Technical Recruiter VJ Info Systems.
