I have one.

If I change my SMTP server settings: 'Use secure connection (SSL/TLS)
from OFF -> ON. Then PowerMail gives the message:

'Class=NetP; what=6; when=1'

and thunderbird gives a much better error.

Thanks,

Can someone reply to this test msg please. I've not been getting
anything from the list since well before the holidays.

I'm also confused about how this feature is supposed to work.

For me, it's acting as follows:
 - I select a message with title "foo bar"
 - I choose 'View Thread'
 - a new window appears showing messages with "foo" and "bar" in their
subject. Even if not part of the same thread at all. It also misses
some that are part of the thread.

I hope that's not what it's supposed to do. Behaviour like Mail.app
would be better (and could be improved upon).

Anyone else try this?

I guess that even with a brand new PowerMail 6 version this month, there
is not much talk about it.
Maybe that means that it is working so well that there is nothing to
talk about? ;-)
Or maybe it means something else?

Me neither. I guess - like some other list members noted it - there's
not much to talk about related to PowerMail and our attention has been
turned to other things these days.

I wish a happy New Year to all of you!

Hi Matthias:

A very happy New Year to you.

I know I asked the question before but I assumed as it had not appeared
on the list ( I get my own posts as list msgs) and, I had received no
replies that the msg didn't get through.

Something peculiar has been going on with list posts vanishing so I
finally signed off the list and then signed up again. That seems to
have done the trick and posts are getting through again.

All the best,

Chris

I think you asked that question already and no one knows (incl. me ;-)
why actually you need to know that?
I'd asume (!) in the setup database.
So maybe we should wait until Jérôme is back.

all the best

Thanks for all the replies :-) It looks as if the server is being very
slow as I got the replies this am (01/01/09) and the msg was sent to the
list last week.

OK a quick question. Where does PM store the msg filter details? Is it
in the user prefs, the setup database or elsewhere?

A happy New Year to all on the list.
