Re: PM going forward

2012-08-17 Thread Koen Keevel
I too, would pay on year basis, but also I would like to see some future ideas
of PM.
What would they like to improve, and in what way.
Some HTML rendering options are not that good yet, while it was promised.
And some good 10.8 improvement would be good too.

So what are the future plans from ctmdev?

and also, the payment would be a support price with regular updates. So if I do
not pay anymore the application would still work, only the support would end.

Cheers

Koen

Hi all,

we have seen a lot of change lately in the world of Mac, with both
Mountain Lion and iCloud.

We expect CTM to make updates to accomodate these changes but it's hard
when they're maintenance rather than new features. We expect updates
and appreciate them but there's not much in it for the CTM folks and,
after all, they have bills to pay just the rest of us. And they're doing
maintenance for free.

I would like PM to get more maintenance so I think that, as a community,
it would be appropriate to have a maintenance subscription to fund this
work. How do others feel about this? Would you be willing to pay a
yearly maintenance subscription?

Regards.Peter

I would echo the comments on this thread -- I would be happy to support paid
upgrades or a modest annual fee.

Hello Peter,

I certainly would pay a reasonable sub.

I would like PM to get more maintenance so I think that, as a community,
it would be appropriate to have a maintenance subscription to fund this
work. How do others feel about this? Would you be willing to pay a
yearly maintenance subscription?
