Re: Mail versus iCal instead of PowerMail versus iCal

2004-09-16 Thread waynefb

I think these are still up on my site, I had modified these some time back.
There is another tool, I forget the name that I thought was better than my
modified scripts, so I stopped modifying them. However, it's more than just
renaming the scripts.

but what should I do now, exchange Mail with
Powerail in these scripts?

that's what I would do.

Giovanni,

there was just a discussion about that on a German List.
The Apple Scripts doing these things are hardcoded.
you'll find them here:
Mail.applescript
Mail.scpt
mailInfoScript.applescript
mailScript.applescript
mailScriptWithAttachment.applescript
all in the package:
 /Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/

well done apple !

When I set one alarm on an event in iCal and tell it to send me an alert
email, this 'll be sent via Mail instead of PowerMail, even though
PowerMail is set as the default email reader, within Mail preferences panel
Any suggestions on how taking complete control over this situation?

Thank you
Giovanni
