Re: No hiding PM
Hi, Thomas Andersson, Jim Pistrang, Midi, Jay and I had the problem. At least that are the ones who talked about in one of this three mails. Yes, I had occasional problems with PM not hiding...a few years ago, and they were usually solved by a restart. I have NOT had any problems in the past year or two, which is why I did not contribute to this thread. I assumed by problems were fixed by either PM or OS updates. I currently run PM along with MANY other applications, and it behaves as it should. computer artwork by subhash said: Funny, that this issue is treated now as if it is a curious seldom appearing one! It is indeed rare. I don't have this problem for one and am not using a US system. As I told it was discussed before, many users had the same problems as we two have still and there was no solution. Please specify date and threads so we know what you're talking about. Have you tried if this issue occurs with another account? Most similar problems only occur on one account, indicating user pref corruption or similar causes. On 6/5/04, Thomas declared: I have had this happen occasionally. If I highlight a message or empty the mail trash, it goes away. Well, it didn´t for me, and I suspect my problem had something to do with my using VirtualDesktop. When I shifted to the desktop where I had placed PM the last time, everything worked fine again. /Thomas Andersson In Mac OS X.2.6, I find that occasionally I can't hide PowerMail, but it's not a PowerMail issue. I have had this happen occasionally. If I highlight a message or empty the mail trash, it goes away. Midi Thomas caused electrons to hula in cyberspace with: Strange: all of a sudden command+H will not hide PM5. Anyone else having the same problem? /Thomas Andersson

Hi Thomas, Strange: all of a sudden command+H will not hide PM5. Anyone else having the same problem? I've occasionally had this happen with both PM and Safari in OSX. Try a restart, see if that fixes things. Jim -- Jim Pistrang JP Computer Resources 413-256-4569 http://users.crocker.com/~pistrang
