And what's your point? You seriously believe that running the latest
version always rule out that application? This is not so. If you're not
willing to test your PM installation with a base OS, you may have to
wait a long time for a resolution.

I had rebuilt everything from the Edit menu yesterday.  Okay, I used  
cmd-option, as you suggested, and PM repeatedly quits while rebuilding  
and won't relaunch.  Reset and relaunch -- same problem.  Fortunately,  
I used SuperDuper yesterday, so I will drag my PM folder back.

At the risk of suggesting the obvious, have you tried rebuilding your
sort indices?  (cmd-option during PM launch)
