Once I had them stored only in the PM DB and needed them when updating
to a new one. I ended up TCP-dumping the get email connections with
Interarchy or if it was Net Tool Box, by making sure I connected without
APOP or SSL, so the passwords were sent out in clear text. I then
searched the dumps to retreive the correct passwords and other details.
Which illustrates why you want to use SSL or APOP, at least, when on a
PUBLIC network, which is typical for wireless or offices for example.
Your password and email details are available for anyone that wants to
listen.
