Re: Way to get LOCAL desktop to an RDP session?

2012-09-10 Thread Vincent Teachout
Thanks, all, for the great suggestions!

I'm going to take a 2 prong approach:
The first time they open the form, I can at least get them to the
\tsclient\users folder, since that is universal.

After they locate their desktop for the first time, I'll store that path
with their program login record, and default it next time. Better than
nothing.

Thanks!

OS() and Windows Version

2012-09-10 Thread Dan Covill
The OS() function is supposed to return the Windows Version.
 From VFP9, SP1, under Windows 7, I get Windows 6.01

 From a Google search, this is wrong. It should be Windows 6.1

I have looked in the registry, which shows CurrentVersion as 6.1,
and Current Build as 7601, which agree with the published tables.

Is this a bug in VFP9, and is there a fix? (perhaps in SP2?)

Seems the same in SP2, Dan.

If you use OS(4), it returns a 1
