Seems like some folks have put up a stink about the REALLY BAD popup
they presented that pretty much forced the upgrade.

Look forward to Microsoft bragging about how many upgraded to Win 10
when the free upgrade period ends.

Oh, sure! Various parts of the technology need to reach a level of
maturity where they are good enough, flexible enough and can't be
improved on. We started working with metal 5 or 6 thousand years ago,
and  no doubt there are some tools that were pretty mature 500 years
ago.

I'll bet vim and emacs live a long life. They already have :)
