Mike,
Using the free version you get a small popup when you exit the program with
advertising which is not even annoying, but apart from that it is perfectly
functional. I have it installed on 3 sites where Sage was just too expensive
and they love it.

The system uses free tables so no problem interfacing with any other VFP
stuff as it is not version specific.

GnuCash at http://www.gnucash.org/ that should work for their accounting 
needs. Do note that its written in C and Scheme.

Accounts package - open-source?

Are there any open-source VFP based Accounting software packages available?

I am about to drag a local not-for-profit club into the current century with
an old workstation, NT4 and Office 97, ok so maybe a bit last century but
stable.  Would be rather convenient if I could also find a VFP based
Accounts package for them to use, I believe their accounts are currently
being done on paper.
