Hola, buenos días, veo que Carlos Pasquialini hace referencia al evento FLISOL del mes de Abril, pero antes de ese importante evento, está la Celebración del Día Mundial del Documento Libre (Document Freedom Day), el cual se celebra anualmente el 4to. Miércoles del mes de Marzo, donde las comunidades internacionales desarrollan eventos relacionados con el uso de los documentos libre o estándares abiertos. En nuestro caso, se han desarrollado eventos para socializar conocimientos entorno a los formatos abiertos ODF y es el escenario ideal para promover el uso de LibreOffice, como plataforma ofimática libre que utiliza el formatos abiertos ODF. De hecho en Cuba lo hemos celebrado en la ciudad de Holguín, la capital de la Provincia del mismo nombre por 5 años consecutivo y que este año, a propuesta nuestra se estarán desarrollando en todo el país ese evento. Igualmente nos sumamos a la celebración del FLISOL en el mes de Abril. Had in mind all of you that there is a international conference effort in Latin América & Spain called FLISoL? It is the biggest event in Spanish and Brazilian language, all years, on as many sites as we can, simultanously the 4th saturday of april, all day long. https://flisol.info/ This year is the 15th. edition, and we hope there will be even an event even in Münich! Of course orators from the LibreOffice community will be welcome, even over videoconference (that may be even better to replicate on more sites simultaneously). Remember we have ~50 events only in Argentina, the same occurs on every other country that participates in the event! [libreoffice-projects] Program Committee of the LibreOffice Conference 2019
Hi all, Like each year, we need a program committee to frame the tracks and vote on the papers for the LibreOffice conference. The committee will have to decide on the main topics of the conference, then read and decide on the talk proposals and set the program for the three days of conference together with the local team. This will be done during July and August. If you want to be part of the committee just answer here or send me a mail, be aware however that a high availability will be requested *during July and August*. We will need no more than 5 persons.
