Hello Team, Need help from you for PromQL query. I want to create alert rule on prometheus alert manager and i have prometheus query Expr- sum by (host_name) (disk_used_percent) > 85 for warning ⚠️ level and same query with threshold > 95 critical level. Now for that i need to create 2 rule for each severity. Now i have question can we create one query for both severity like range between 85-95 warring and 95 up critical? If yes can someone help me to write one sample query example. So using one query i can setup alert rule. [prometheus-users] System up time
Hi All, I have prometheus running on docker, added around 1000+ hosts as a target. prometheus scraping metrics using telegraf. I have one metrics which name System up time. But metrics value is not showing as day and hours. I want total days and hours of syatem up and running. Hello Team, Can we use Hashmod on http_sd_configs ? I added my target from cmdb. But i want to set autoscalling on targets. Like 1st 1500 hosts added on prometheus 1 then next 1500 added on 2nd prometheus. Can someone guide me how to do that? Hello Team, I have prometheus running ad a docker container on docker. I want to use prometheus as aagent mode. So can someone guide me where I need to put this flag —enable-feature=agent . On prometheus.yml or something else. On kubernet i did same things on pass this flag on deployment but on docker where? [prometheus-users] Connection Timeout error
Hello Team, While adding 2000 hosts as a prometheus scrape targets. Only 1375 hosts show up. Rest are 625 show down with connection timeout error. What is the reason for that? Any idea? Error type- 1- Context deadline exceeded 2- connect:connection refuses 3- connect: no route to host 4: dial top 10.33.217.xx:9126: i/o timeout Please help me what is the reason for this error. I want to add tag to metrics polled from telegraf to Prometheus. Like cpu_usage_system cpu_usage_guest are original name of metrics but want to add some tag so using that tag can setup alerts. [prometheus-users] Common tag to metrics
Hello Team, I have want to monitoring 1 servers metrics via telegraf. Prometheus running as a stand alone not in docker and kubernet. So what is idea size of host for running Prometheus without any failure. Currently I have 2 core cpu and 16gb memory and 100GB disk. But if I add 2000 host as a target. Memory utilization goes very high and then Prometheus service went down. Please help me to setup Prometheus.
