Particularly at this time of year, with PyCon in progress, readers might
wish to remember that without substantial help from the Perl community (who
had been organising the YAPC conferences for some time) PyCon might never
had got off the ground. Nat Torkington gave freely of his time to share his
experiences and offer helpful suggestions.
