Re: structure patches as plugin presets

2012-03-11 Thread studiojay
Hi Stefan,
I have all of the patches that ship with the full version of
Structure. It is an amazing synth. I am not on my mac now, but I will
send them to you tomorrow. Just copy the folder I send you in to
Macintosh hd\library\Application support\digidesign\pluggin support.
Best regards.

Can't read level meters with Voiceover.

2012-03-11 Thread studiojay
Hi everyone,
Can some one please help me with the following problem? When I
interact with an audio track, then voiceover over to the track meter,
voiceover just says "Level Meter." But does not read out the value? I
am trying to set my recording level. I have the correct input set from
my audio interface, and when I record, I am getting audio playback, my
sighted help can actually see the meter moving. It's just that
voiceover can't see the value. I am using Pro
Tools 10 with Lion. Thanks in advance for any help.
Jason

2012-03-11 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi Jason,
Short answer is only show the tracks your recording to.
When there are to many tracks showing I have noticed this behavior.
It seems when I am showing 12 or 16 tracks or more the meter plays "hide and
SeeK"! "GUFFAWING" :)
Something else to try is to scroll track in to view from its contextual menu.
Try hitting "page up" to clear up this also.
Also close and reopen all windows.
Last ditch effort close the session and reopen session this almost always
clears up whack behavior! ;)
I use hotspots to monitor levels so when I am off in other pt places I always
have the meter being read out to me. ;)

A new PT user,,,

2012-03-11 Thread Keith Reedy
Hi folks,

A friend of mine has just ordered a new audio interface and it will come with a
copy of Pro Tools SE, does any one know if it will be accessible as the other
versions of Pro Tools are?

It looks like I will be ordering Pro Tools 10 in a few weeks.

Thanks for any info on Pro Tools SE.
