Re: dialog finally restarted with Avid
To reitterate all that everyone has said, thank you for your efforts Slau. I don't know how everyone else feels about this, but if you're going to spend your time, and more importantly your money, to make this thing work, I am personally more than happy to offer my services in any way I can. I can't code, and I don't know Pro Tools well enough to be able to do anything constructive with any of that sort, but I am more than willing to give you money towards your flights, as well as any other costs you incur. If there's anything else I can do to help with this stuff, please let me know, as I don't like taking advantage of your hard work, without offering something more concrete than sinceer thanks. Thanks again mate, and please bear this in mind, if you're going to be flying around the country LOL. Cheers, On 16/06/2012, Christopher-Mark Gilland clgillan...@gmail.com wrote: No problem, Slau. Good point Mr Norman! If there were some sort of donation pot to take the edge off, I'd chip in when and where possible. Hey guys, Thanks for the offers which I do appreciate very much but it's not necessary for now. Let's see how this all goes in the near future. Cheers, Slau
Re: dialog finally restarted with Avid
Hi Sean, Thanks again. For now, if it looks like a trip is required, I plan to use frequent flyer miles so that'll help. If it becomes a burden in the future, and hopefully there won't be any burden, I'll consider the suggestion. Much appreciated. Best, Slau On Jun 18, 2012, at 8:36 AM, Sean A. Re: dialog finally restarted with Avid
Fair enough Slau, but please do think about it, because if we're all benefiting from your work, I don't think it's fair that you shoulder the entire cost. Pro Tools 10
I have PT 8, and am wanting to upgrade to use other interfaces. If I buy PT 10 from Sweetwater, will it have the plugin accessibility issues, or will there be an update before I run into those?
Re: Pro Tools 10
Sweetwater, most likely would be giving you 10.2, so yes, you would definitely have the issues. Chris. Re: Pro Tools 10
Hi, I thought if you were to buy it you would get 10.0 on the DVD or download then after installation upgrade to 10.2. I would call them and explain what is going on as they might have an extra DVD set of 10.0 or could email you the download file links.
