There's something called quick keys, but I'm not sure if it bares any
resemblence to auto hot keys, but I've heard it mentioned as an access
solution.

That is all I know about it though.

Brian.

It may well work still though? Unless you've tried it of course and it in
fact doesn't.

I'm not a mac user at present but I've seen people say just because the new
version of the OS isn't supported it doesn't necessarily say an ap won't
work, and sometimes an ap will 90% work and the new OS will just through up
the odd bug that may not matter.

Cool, well unfortunately heres where my already limited usefulness on the
subject runs out.

Brian Smart, who frequents this list from time to time has definitely used
quick keys and ithink was working on trying to script with it, so if you can
track him down he may be able to help, but he's a very busy guy I would say.

Best of luck with it,

Brian.

The problem with using QuicKeys as an accessibility solution should be
self-evident. Controls and elements need to be made visible to VoiceOver.
Hopefully that's the path that the developer will take. A macro utility should
only supplement that basic level of accessibility offered when programmers
follow best practices. Anyway, keep us posted.
