Re: unable to delete selected audio or move any selection after making it in pro tools 11.3

2015-03-01 Thread Nick Gawronski
Hi, I had someone sited look at the screen and it looks like I am not in
the wave view but in the list of tracks. I am not sure how I changed out
of that view but what do I need to do to get back into this view using
voiceover? The person who looked at the system knows nothing about pro
tools but I wanted them to tell me what was on the screen so I would know
what was going on as when I hit delete nothing is getting deleted and I
can't move either side of the selection. What could I have done to change
pro tools into this mode and or make it always stay in the proper mode
where normal deleting works? Nick Gawronski

not properly labeled so I had to play around with that dialog before I was
able to import the file I am working on to a new track is this the
proper place to report bugs like this or is there a support page from Avid
where I should report these bugs at? Nick Gawronski

Re: unable to delete selected audio or move any selection after making it in pro tools 11.3

2015-03-01 Thread Mike Lockett
Nick,
A few things to try,
If you’ve set tracks to elastic audio
 accidentally,
go to the edit window, interact with a track,
V-O Right arrow to the track view selector button .
Make sure it is set to waveform view. if you set this to warp view or something
it will act this way.
You should V-O-shift-M on the track view selector so when you change one track
to waveform it will change all of them…

Also if you hadn’t done this,
Go Menu/option/ make sure Link Timeline and edit selection, and link track and
edit selection are checked….
This can also be the root of your problem.
Hope this helps
