a handy little trick I discovered

2016-07-04 Thread Gordon Kent
I was in a situation where I wanted to rename a bunch
of tracks. I selected all the tracks, then went into the context menu and
pressed r and enter. I renamed the first track and hit enter. I was
automatically brought to the next track to rename it. It’s much easier than
having to go into the menu every time.

Re: anyone seen this

2016-07-04 Thread Gordon Kent
No, I haven't had that happen. I am using pt12
though. I did get a random crash today when I closed a plugin window.
Those session backups do come in handy.

Subject: anyone seen this

Hi guys. i’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Basically i’ve
found since using protools that when ever i delete a track, protools will
often crash. This all so happens a lot when i use the item chooser. I’ve
noticed this on both my machines.

I am all so running p t 11, so i’m wondering if this is a known behaviour,
and whether it may be addressed in pt 12. If anyone has seen this, is there
something i can do to stop this happening.

Steve

Re: Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol

2016-07-04 Thread Kevin Reeves
You cannot use voiceover to do anything. Loading and saving libraries, adding
things to your database, etc., is not accessible at all. The only way to do
this is through the complete control set up. The cheapest keyboard is the 25
note controller. It comes with 10 libraries including massive, prism, monarch,
a high-quality piano, and electric piano, and others. Through the use of the
complete control set up, you will be able to install third-party libraries and
load them. As long as they comply with the NKS protocol, Which is native
instruments new language for allowing instruments to communicate with the
keyboard controller's knob mapping.
