Hi Slau, I would assume you have been to the AES conference this week. When you have time, I would appreciate any comments you might have on the following announcement.
As you know, I’m on the cusps of pulling the trigger on my new HD interface; and low and behold, here’s the Avid MTRX as a new consideration. So I have a couple questions of you and or any others on list that could possibly shed some light on my potential selection. With regard to the Avid MTRX, the articles I have been reading reference a couple device managing software, the DADman and the Pro Mon. Do you know if we have any access to either of these software for controlling the I/O? Also, the articles reference Pro Tools itself being able to directly access and utilize the I/O’s controls. Will this be in conjunction with the two previously mentioned software, or does Pro Tools circumvent the need for the DADman and Pro Mon software? Thanks as always!
