Hi Jack,

I can’t answer that yet but, suffice it to say, we’re in the process of
procuring both of those interfaces to make an assessment on the accessibility.
The software for the MTRX appears, at the outset, to look promising but I’ll
have to have an interface in order to see whether all of the controls are
visible. I have no idea about the Element software yet but will report here as
soon as I know anything.

Best,

Slau

Hi Jørgen,

Depending upon what kind of I/O scenario you’re looking for, Apogee just
released three new interfaces yesterday that are more affordable than their
previous offerings. They are the Element series interfaces and are all
Thunderbolt compatible. Thus far, all Apogee interfaces have used an
application called Maestro to access the interface settings. The software is
almost entirely accessible and it’s also possible to set a number of parameters
from the units themselves. Unless these new interfaces have somehow deviated
from Apogee’s path all these years, they should be quite useable. As always,
the only true test is getting one and trying it. Hope that helps a bit,

Slau

I have found a sound interface from Uad with a quard core processor, the

Should that be a solution?

Pro tools 12.6 Clip effects?

2016-10-07 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi List,
Any body using the clip effects yet?
Heres a video about 12.6 new features;
http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home-page/2016/9/9/pro-tools-126-a-detailed-look-at-the-new-features
When i hit "option 6" to open up the clip effects pane i can change presets
and bypass But how do you adjust thresholds and other parameters?
Its very cool how you can effect individual clips!
I've looked in preferences to no avail!
Any observations?
May be a bug report if you all are experiencing the same results?
Thanks
Chuck

Sent from my iPhone some of the instrument incomplete display just numbers for
parameters. Do they serve any purpose? Can we actually use them for anything?
