Re: flo tools not working

2016-12-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Steve,
Glad to hear it's up and running. The more you get used to the Flo Tools
commands, the more time you'll save. Some of the main Flo Tools commands
themselves like speak selected tracks, speak shown tracks, speak muted tracks,
etc., not to mention all of the counter-based shortcuts will ultimately not
only save you a bunch of time but give you more confidence in your workflow.
Awesome.
Cheers,
Slau

Hey Slau, think i’ve got it. i had trouble changing to US lay out on both my

Avatar routing

2016-12-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
Just quickly grabbed the Avatar multi-out routing that Phil laid out. Looks
like you'll only need to create 13 aux tracks and, of course, think of these
busses as 1-2 rather than 1/2:
Kick In
1/2
Kick Out
3/4
Kick Sub
5/6
Snare Top
7/8
Snare Bottom
9/10
Snare FX
11/12
Hi-hats
13/14
Rack Tom 1
15/16
Rack Tom 2
17/18
Rack Tom 3
19/20
Floor Tom 1
21/22
Floor Tom 2
23/24
Overheads
25/26
Ambient
27/28

Superior Drummer plug-in views docs

2016-12-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
For those not sharing in the Drop Box for bandwidth concerns, here

are the initial plug-in view files for Superior Drummer. Also, here

are a bunch of multi-out files that Phil Muir created.
Long story short (and you'll have to fill in some blanks as I'm in a bit of a
rush right now), if you want to use Phil's multi-out routings:
Instantiate Superior on a stereo instrument track.
Use Control plus the arrow keys to navigate to the Load/Save menu and select
"Load."
Navigate to one of Phil's multi SD2 files and make sure it's a library that you
own and load it.
Create 15 stereo aux tracks.
Interact with the input of the first aux track and, with Command+Option+Shift
pressed, set it to Plug-In>Superior Drummer Insert A>bus 3-4.

Now any sequence on the Instrument track will be split out to kick in, kick
out, sub kick, snare top, snare bottom, etc.

This is a very quick and dirty explanation but that's the basic story. Phil
might chime in with more of a description and possibly paste in the text of the
document he created explaining the routing and what's on each set of busses.

Later,
slau

Re: flo tools not working

2016-12-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Steve,
No, t is not the key. The forward slash is the key to toggle the Inspector on
and off. That would be the key right below the semicolon . Not familiar with
the Aussie layout so I'm afraid I probably can't easily help. I could try the
layout you're using but I don't have the time right this moment and leaving
soon. In the mean time, see if you can get the US layout going. I can't believe
the Alex voice has anything to do with it because sighted users use different
keyboard layouts completely independent of voices and VoiceOver. OK, we'll
figure this out one way or another.

Re: flo tools not working

2016-12-28 Thread Steve Sparrow
`Hey Slau i have it sorted. in the end i uninstalled it and reinstalled to no
avail. So i ended up redownloading the scripts again from flo tools, and
reinstalled and up she came no problem. so obviously it did not download
properly in the first place.
So all good and happy here.

Re: Flo Tools 2.0 is here!

2016-12-28 Thread Martin (Punky) Sopart
Hi FloTools team and list!

I installed FT2.0 and most of the new good stuff seams to work.

One thing in the plug-in view for e.g. the 7 band eq...
Navigating via Control+ArrowKeys works fine, but the mouse click -
Shift+VO+Space - does not work.
Pressing the hardware mouse in that situation works.

What do I have to set up to have the best appearance of the plug-in window.
Or what else could be wrong.

Thanks and regards! / Martin

Whichever way you want to look at it, Flo Tools 2.0 is here! What? Already?
Well, actually, the Flo Tools Team started work on version 2.0 as soon as Flo
Tools was first released. We've gone from 2 macro groups to 6 macro groups and
from around 120 macros to over 230 macros. There are several new features, some
small, some pretty big. Go on over to the Flo Tools web site at
http://flotools.github.io to read all about it on the "What's New in Flo Tools
2.0" page as well as the updated Read Me section. There's also an audio demo of
the new Flo Tools Plug-In Views feature. We're really excited to share this new
version with all of you so go out there, download it and go with the Flo!

Re: flo tools not working

2016-12-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Steve,
Sorry you're having trouble. One thing you should definitely do for now is
reboot. We're working on a way to force the Keyboard Maestro Engine to reboot
itself upon installation of the scripts and we'll have a new installer that
accomplishes this shortly. In the mean time, reboot your computer and you
should be fine. The US keyboard layout doesn't require the Alex voice as far as
I know and I'm not sure why the US layout didn't stick for you but, as for the
first issue, a reboot should fix your initial issues.
HTH,
Slau
