Re: Nubus Reverb
Hi Slau, Thanks for the heads-up! That's good news. I really like the quality of that plug-in, it will be another great addition to the arsenal to have assessable. Re: Nubus Reverb
Hi Sean, Just wanted to let you know that Exponential Audio's developer attended the Avid Alliance Partner Conference in Anaheim where I did a presentation on accessibility. I've reached out to him regarding the Nimbus reverb. My suspicion that the plug-in is authored in Juce was confirmed. The good news/bad news is that it's the same platform that the Sound Radix guys fixed but the version that Exponential uses is customized or, as he puts it, hacked. So, he's been in touch with Sound Radix about how to potentially fix the issue and, if that isn't as quick a fix, he'll be upgrading to the latest Juce version some time this spring. So, we're in touch and we'll figure it out. It might be sooner, might be later and he is a one-man operation but things are at least on the radar. Just wanted to let you know. RE: Velocity curves - Roland A8
Hi Slau! Yes, there is a kind of config mode via the keyboard of the Keystation 88 itself. Your description sounds very similar to the Keystation 88 manual. The bad thing is, that there is no word about velocity in that manual. Only an older Keystation called Keystation Pro 88 had the velocity chapter in its manual. But I'll give it a try. So far I'm trying with the MIDI real-time velocity properties to push the signal. Thanks Pro Tools. Re: Velocity curves - Roland A8
Hi Martin, Yes, it's possible to change the curve accessibly. I'll describe exactly how it's done below. One thing, however, is that I'm thinking that the process might actually be similar on the KeyStation. I'm not sure but, if it's anything like the KeyStation 61, it's a series of controls that are mapped to the keys themselves. Anyway, I'll describe the process for the A-88: 1. Press the dedicated Function button on the left side of the controller above the pitch bend/mod wheel. 2. Press the G#2 key which corresponds to Velocity curve. 3. Choose one of five levels from 0 to 4 which correspond to the keys D3 to F#3. 4. Press the C4 key to enter. It couldn't be simpler. The only thing you have to do is press the right keys. I've created a list of the keys and their functions. I'm pasting it below. Hope that helps, Slau Roland A-88 layout Top Panel: D-Beam 4 square buttons are: 1. Pitch 2. Volume 3. Assign 4. Velocity curves - Roland A8
Hi Slau! At the moment I'm testing a M-Audio Keystation 88. Very inexpensive but maybe enouth to trigger some Samples. I realized that it is very hard to play notes with a velocity of 127 with the Keystation 88. Unfortunately there is no way to change the velocity curve at all. How is this behavior with the A8? Could I change velocity curves on the fly accessible? Thanks for your valuable support! / Martin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
