Re: Waves VoiceOver Accessibility up date.

2017-06-22 Thread Steve Martin
Good to see progress being made. In fairness to Universal audio the plug ins
themselves are pretty accessible and the presets show up in the DAW's preset
manager. We just need to get them to make the console for tracking through the
UA plugs and the updating/demo process accessible. In the end i ditched the
platform since i hardly ever bought any of their plug ins since the non
exclusive ones were usually on sale more frequently and less expensive
directly from their developer. While there is a UA exclusive plug in or two i
wish i could still use it wasn't worth the hassle if i couldn't take full
advantage of the Apollo hardware. Maybe one of these days when they do a sale
on hardware I'll grab a duo or quad UA2 card only.

RE: Go-to reverb

2017-06-22 Thread Phil Muir
Agreed. All of his verbs are great. Use Vintage Verb all the time. Really
low on CPU and way better than the Pantheon that Pete mentioned :-)

ValhallaDSP's Vintage Verb is excelent and only $50. All of their
reverbs are worth having: Vintage, Room, Plate and Shimmer.

Go-to reverb

2017-06-22 Thread Peter Bosher

Hi All,

When possible, I prefer to have one really good plug-in that I get to
know well, rather than a whole bunch with different interfaces. For
reverb, That used to be Lexicon Pantheon. I find PT's native D-verb
remarkably horrible, so my question is, if you had to choose just one
go-to reverb plug-in, to use with PT, for quality first, and
accessibility too, which one would you recommend, and a rough price and
website would be really helpful too if easy to do please.

Whilst writing, I just have to add my heartfelt thanks and appreciation
to Slau, Chi and the others for Flotools 2.2. It rocks.
