The Plug ins are generally accessible however, the unison technelogy part of it
on their interfaces is not accessible. That means if you get an Apollo
interface the part where you select a mic preamp and adjust the settings of the
preamp you would like to emulate is not accessible. So if you just want to use
the plugins in your DAW you can get a UAD satellite card instead of the apolo
and use the Apogee element as as your interface.

Hello friends,

I am still shopping and investigating new interfaces. I have been taking long
hard looks at both the Apogee Elements, along with the Newer Apollo gear.

I have briefly come across posts discussing the limitations of accessibility
with Voice Over and the Apollo interfaces. Can somebody please give me a
breakdown of the limitations. I don’t want to drop a few grand on an Apollo,
only to feel very frustrated. The Element looks really nice, but then again so
does UA and I have been a fan of UA gear for many years now.

2017-10-24 Thread Nathaniel Kile
Hello guys,

For some reason these messages went in my junk folder.

I will have to look at flow tools as I get back into upgrading the setup. I did
not know if I could use the 003 strictly as a controller, I don’t want to run
my interface through VIA the 003 optical because I will still be hampered by
the fire wire limitations, and I want to be able to take advantage of
thunderbolt speed. If I can use both then I would probably consider keeping the
003 as the controller.
