problem using beat detective and selecting audio fragment

2018-04-28 Thread Luis Daniel Pérez
Hello everyone
it turns out that when selecting audio pieces (using up arrow and down
arrow) I do not capture the audio, only the silence of the audio. and the
tracks I already have selected in the table
also in beat detective when separating the clips I get this message:
audio tracks must be in 'waveform display
Does anyone know what is going on?
thank you very much!

Yes, your track view is not set to waveform and it needs to be in order for any
editing of waveforms to work.

2018-04-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
In the Edit window, interact with a track and navigate to the track view pop-up
button and select "Waveform." This does not mean interact with the track in the
Track List table. This means the track itself where other controls like record,
mute and solo are located.

Re: problem using beat detective and selecting audio fragment

2018-04-28 Thread Slau Halatyn
This only affects the current track. If you have all tracks selected, you can
use Flo Mouse to Option Shift click to apply to all selected tracks or Option
click to apply to all tracks. By default, all tracks are in Waveform view so
you don't have to change anything by default.
Hope that helps,
Slau

Re: A way to open Sonar Sessions on Mac or covert to Protools sessions?

2018-04-28 Thread Steve Sparrow
Hi I haven’t read all the posts on this thread as yet. I’ve been as busy as a
Brama bull in breeding season. Lol.

Anyway. The only way I achieved moving sonar projects to Protools, Was to
bounce everything out from the sonar session to separate wav files. Check or
uncheck what track or bus effects you may or may not want. Then pick up the
folder, and import the wav files into protools, and go from there. It seems to
work, and only seems to take about half an hour a session. Not sure what
happens if you wanted to import an entire mix. I never did that. It might work.
But results may well be different.
Steve
