Re: Bounce tracks

2019-04-05 Thread Steve Sparrow
I just solo each track and bounce it out to a wav file, and reimport the file.
Track commit would probably do it to.

Thanks for the link Slau. The techie in me always likes hearing details like
this, and the mediator in me likes loading up on ammo to gently unleash on
those who may not share my gratitude for everything Avid does. Software updates
are a good thing, thoroughly tested are best, and software as good as Pro Tools
already is deserves patience from its users.

I completely agree with Michael, thank you so much for putting that info out

Re: what's behind the delay on Pro Tools 2019

2019-04-05 Thread Katie Zodrow
Hi Slau. Thanks for the link. I read the transcript of the interview this
morning and that's awesome ProTools and Mojave will finally be compatible! I
was wondering why there wasn't a new release of ProTools yet, and that now
makes sense.
By the way, did you have any audio recordings or links from the Avid
accessibility workshops at the NAMM show this year?
Thx.Katie

Re: what's behind the delay on Pro Tools 2019

2019-04-05 Thread Steve Matzura

Blame it on Chinese hardware (LOL).

Which begs the serious question: Wondering how long it will be before
old hardware is outstripped by new firmware, and just how much of that
might be at play here in that fifteen-percent problem group.
