How do you access an imported session data

2020-10-03 Thread Dammie Onafeko
Hi guys:

Happy Sunday to you all! Hope everyone is doing very well in this
atmosphere. I'm trying to import some session data, but I can't seem
to get it right. So far, I did shift option I to import and selected
the .ptx file I want to import. I then pushed okay in the subsequent
windows that popped up. By the time, I get back into the mix window of
the main session I was working with, I couldn't find the imported
session. What did I do wrong? Or what more do I need to do? Please
help! Your time and 2cents will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Best,

Dammie

I have a template of instruments setup in pro tools but i'm having a problem with selecting sounds!

2020-10-03 Thread dingram269
Hi list members, I have a project that has instruments setup, but it seems that
I have a problem when selecting an instrument that after I arm the track or in
this case an instrument that after disarming the instrument and I go to the
next instrument, I only hear the first instrument, is there something else that
I need to do? I'm not really familiar with flo tools yet but what can I do to
fix this problem? Thank you for any information that you might have concerning
this question. P.S. Is there a fast way to change tempo as well as the
metronome click to eighth notes? Thank you.

Re: Flo Tools conflicts

2020-10-03 Thread Slau Halatyn
To be fair, one can simply use Control+p or semicolon to select a track and
press Shift R to arm it. However, the process of verifying which of many
non-contiguous tracks are either selected or record enabled is laughably
tedious without Flo Tools. Naturally, the best case scenario is to be
intimately familiar with Pro Tools and Flo Tools alike.

 Hi!

I'm having trouble with what maybe is a conflict in settings somewhere
between accessibility & Flo Tools but I can't be entirely sure.

Macros in Flo Tools appear to turn themselves off in some instances or
appear to have no functionality at all. I've emailed Keyboard maestro who
have sent me back to Flo Tools.

Additionally, when Flo Tools is engaged some of the usual keyboard
functions appear to no longer work eg space bar no longer operates as
start/stop & I have to use the transport controls on the control surface.

Any tips on correct settings would be greatly appreciated.

I am running latest Pro Tools on a Mac with Mojave 10.14.6

 Have a great weekend

Sweet deal! What're we looking at cost wise, so I can make sure I maintain
enough in my account to afford all the modules bundled together?

Was wondering the status on the ProTools with Speech corse. I know you were
making an updated version. I'd like to buy it, if it's ready.

Figured I'd add to what Matt and others have said. I fail to see how
interacting with a track on the channel strip, then going right about 5 or 6
times to get to the record enable button and then stopping interacting is
faster than simply double tapping R to arm said track, but to each there own I
guess...
