Addictive Trigger + Addictive Drums Presets
HI, here are the .tfx presets for Addictive Drums 2 and Trigger. Addictive Drums 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g5msk8nugv07hbo/Addictive%20Drums%202.zip?dl=0 Addictive Trigger: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0wvcofhgwwjynco/Addictive%20Trigge.zip?dl=0 The folders are in my DropBox, so maybe they won't be there forever. Anyway i sent them to the Pro Tools with Speech for their Plug In Presets Page as well. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Editing Analysis and Wrap markers
Hi, anyone knows if there's a way of editing Analysis and Wrap markers under Voice Over? Something like short cuts for dropping, adding or shifting, or locating the mouse pointer on them? thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: [ddots-l] Steven Slate Drums on Sale
I owned trigger 2 platinum deluxe for few months, it's very hard to use under voice over and caused frequent PT crashes, i had to sell it so far,,, As well the Steven Slate customer service confirmed me it's not accessible. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: Lexicon PCM Native accessibility?
In my experience, one yar ago, with the Lexicon stuff, their plug ins are not accessible via VO and they also gives trouble with the Artist control surface series as confirmed by the Lexicon customer support. I personal use the UAD emulations, great accessibility and tone, but they require external DSP outboard and they are pretty expensive. The Waves plugins are all right with great accessibility and you can take advantage of their almost weekly offers to pay a reasonable price. Sony Reverb is an amazing alternative, very flexible and delivers an incredible sound quality even emulating the legendary Lexicon sound along with several rooms, plates and springs, it also comes with a very useful hi resolution built in EQ an literally hundred of very useful presets, but it's pretty expensive as well (In case i'm selling a Sonnox Reverb plug in license for half of the price). Re: peak finder
The Strip Silence trick works great! i found something like that among the pt expert tutorials as well. I also found there's an open request on the Avid web site for a specific feature, something like tab to peak, logic already got this function and if i'm not wrong, digi Audio included it a lot of years ago till it disappeared along the pt versions... it would be useful i guess not for a blind user only anyway, Strip To Silence do the job for now, thanks again! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. peak finder
Hi, anyone knows a trick to determine the peak of an audio track/mix and the way to locate the edit selector in the corrispondent position? I mean an alternative to Snapper or insight or tl meter inside PT. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: Soundtoys/chrystallizer
hey John, Crystalizer is a reverse verb very nice for creative uses, Yes it's accessible via control surface and VO, even if via VO changing some parameters takes more time. As you can read on the previous post on the Soundtoys plug ins, the preset menu is not accessible, but you can easily fix this issue downloading for free and accessible version of the presets from the PT with Speech web site, H.I.H., -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: Sound Toys plug-ins
i downloaded the Crystalizer preset library and noticed the presets are sorted outside the factory folder, so . I put each preset under their appropriate category for my need - i just imagined myself scrolling down and up hundred of weird labels in search of what i'll looking for after some hours mixing :-) :-) if anyone need the new folder, ,, here's the link for the download : https://www.dropbox.com/s/36g0r2edg8zswjo/Crystallizer.zip?dl=0,. I also noticed that the folders named: Mirrorball music, Morgan Page, New for V4 and Peter Wad are missing. In the future i'll try to provide them if i can. Many thanks Slau, super as ever! Re: Sound Toys plug-ins
Sure Slau, i already sent them via email several months ago along with some Waves preset folder to someone at PT for speech.. BTW, i didn't understand where to check their shared presets library out on the web, any indication about it will be definitely appreciated, thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: SoundToys plug-ins
I use two or more of these Sound Toys plug ins in almost all my mix and/or mastering, Decapitator and Echo Boy first of all. I confirm: zero accessibility problems for the parameters both via control surface and VO. Only the presets folder is not accessible and this is a pity because they are actually very useful, the the presets are in .toy and it's not possible to rename them. Anyway i got both Decapitator and Echo Boy presets library in .tfx in case anyone need them i will be glad to send them or trade them with i.e. Phase Mistress, Crystalizer etc. presets. my I'm sure a couple of people downloaded the free SoundToys H3000 plug-in when it was available a while ago but I'm not sure how many users here have used the rest of their plug-ins. Aside from the H3000, I don't recall any mention of SoundToys among users on the list. I've liked the SoundToys stuff when working at other studios but it was always in a situation where I was working with an assistant so I never had a chance to truly examine the accessibility. Well, I finally had a chance to sit down with the SoundToys 5 bundle and was pleasantly surprised. Specifically, what I've found is that the plug-in parameter layout in the plug-in view follows the layout on the control surface without exception, as far as I can tell. In addition, there's no extra "zero parameter" as we see in so many other plug-in views. That's a mystery to me but, hey, they seem to be doing something right. > > Had I known during their Black Friday sale period, I would have shared > that on the list earlier but I didn't get around to it until this morning. > Their sale is over for now but I'm sure there will be another one at some > point. I'd say it's worth it. It's native and not DSP but, for most people > on the list, that doesn't really matter and, even for HD users, these are > the kinds of plug-ins you'd normally instantiate after DSP so it's all > good. I'm pretty sure everything's available as a trial version as well so > you can try the stuff for yourselves.
