Hi, and thanks. Yes, I use this method too, but was looking for a sample
playback tool, or ways to expand the way I currently use Structure.

Hi John,

not a looping plug-in that is accessibility. Instead, you have to
approach it in a more manual way. Here are a steps below, thanks to
Chi. Hope this helps.
1. Make sure Link Timeline and Edit Selection is checked under options menu.
2. Make sure Link Track and Edit Selection is checked under the options menu.
3 Interact with Track list table and deselect and reselect the track
to edit even though Voiceover says it's selected.
4. Make sure insertion follows playback is not selected under the
Cursor Tool Cluster in the edit window.
Here is the instruction on how to loop material that starts on bar 1
and ends on bar 5.
1. Select the track(s) from track list table
2. Go to edit window with command+equals.
3. Make a timeline selection from bar 1 to 5: press slash on numpad,
type 1, press slash on numpad, type 5, and press enter on numpad.
4. Copy with command+c
5. Go to the bar where you want to paste, and press command+v
If you want to loop multiple times, you can just keep repeating the step 5.
Also you can use the repeat function on Pro Tools under the edit menu
after making track and timeline selection.

Fwd: Accessible sample and loop playback tool

2018-11-20 Thread John André Lium-Netland

Hi,

Resending this in case someone got some suggestions… :)

I’d appreciate suggestions from you on a sample and loop playback tool plugin
that works great with PT and VoiceOver.

I currently have Structure, but I find it not as good in all situations, and I
have not found a modern and extensive library to build around it.

Especially, I’m interested in the best orchestral/symphonic library one can
obtain in an accessible plugin.

I also would like a tool that works like my old hardware sampler worked; so I
could grab a clip from one of my recorded audio tracks, throw it into the
sampler and play it back / trigger it like a tonal instrument.

I have not found how to do this with Structure when using VoiceOver.

Maybe I can do this with the Kontakt Player?

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome! :)

Best,
John André
