Better handle on pasting to end of selection
Hello folks, at this point when I want to paste a four bar section I paste 4 bar peace by four bar peace, but I remember Kevin trying to explain pasting to end of selection, can somebody give me a step by step about this, for example, if I only have a four bar drum loop in the session and want to have it play for 80 bars, how would I ocomplish this? In Sonar whenever you paist you are given the option to select the amount of copies you are pasting on the track and it is very intuative. Also, has anybody found out how to set the quantisation on a session without sighted assistance? I have a templet with a quantisation setting for creating program music, but I don't want to be stuck to a templet when ever I want to make a beat, or if I am on somebody elses rig, I want to be able to work as indipendently as possible. Re: Better handle on pasting to end of selection
Hi, Also you can Hit the key board command, Option r and it brings up the repeat dialogue. I do this in grid mode, and if your loop is good just punch in the number of repeats as Mike said and Bang! :) YMMV CHUCK REICHEL soundpicturerecord...@gmail.com www.SoundPictureRecording.com 954-742-0019 GUFFAWING :) In GOD I Trust On Sep 26, 2013, at 1:09 PM, Mike Lockett wrote: Hey Poppa one way to do this, if you know how long your song is as in this case 80.
