I don't think GarageBand can either. Logic can, if you're willing to sit there and do every note, unless I'm missing something, which is entirely possible, as I've only been playing with it for a bit, but QWS, while dead simple, can be great for all that, and, actually, it is my weapon of choice for MIDI editing. Bounce it to midi (possibly right click the track name in the track list).
