Re: Control+P and Control+Semicolon in ProTools 2019.6

2019-07-20 Thread Slau Halatyn
Yeah, it was an unfortunate development this whole thing about Pro Tools now
natively speaking because it'll never replace Flo Tools and, unfortunately, it
also doesn't play nicely with Flo Tools either, not to mention that it doesn't
report what type of track or even how many tracks are within a selection in
real time. We have a potential solution that the Avid team can implement but
that'll take a while. Glad to hear it's resolved for now.
Cheers,
Slau

Re: Control+P and Control+Semicolon in ProTools 2019.6

2019-07-20 Thread Martin (Punky) Sopart
Hello Slau!

Thanks a lot again for your documentation regarding Flo Tools 2019.5 and Mojave.
Even I had a fresh installation of Mojave on a brand new Mac, first installed
KM and then Pro Tolls 2019.6 also a fresh installation, and taking care of all
security warnings, the accessibility settings for KM got damaged.
After unchecking and rechecking them, Control]P and Control]Semicolon work as
expected again.

Strange is, that all other Flo Tools functions worked with the damaged
accessibilitysettings.
Only the elementary Pro Tools track selection didn't.

Best! / Martin

Re: Control+P and Control+Semicolon in ProTools 2019.6

2019-07-20 Thread Martin (Punky) Sopart
Hello Slau!

Just to be shure I duplicated the situation as follows:

Lounching Pro Tools 2019.6 including Flo Tools 2019.5.1;
Creating a new session using the Flo Tools template;
Creating a click track;
Adding 2 instrument tracks;
Selecting the click trak (first track);

When now pressing Control+Semicolon, the click track keeps selected and VO
announces that track.

Re: Control+P and Control+Semicolon in ProTools 2019.6

2019-07-20 Thread Sean A. Cummins
Hi Martin,

You simpley add the (shift key) to the (Control P, and control
semicolon) and you will select tracks consecutively.

If you have a Hotspot set the query the Track List Table, you can then
hear the range of track that you have selected. The only drawback is
that Voiceover does not report the interval skips if they are not
consecutive. For example; if you select tracks 1,2,4,5, skipping
track 3, Voiceover reports “Tracks 1 through 5 selected.

Hello all!

When pressing Control+P or Control+Semicolon in ProTools 2019.6 under Mojave VO

Is there a new setting to make?

Selecting tracks using VO+Space inside the track list tagle is working.
Also selecting and editing audio is working.

Any ideas here?
