Does pt 11 support moldable interfaces
I am wondering if PT 11 can run two interfaces? I would like to run a Mackie going in and a 003 coming out for the control surface functions. Re: Does pt 11 support moldable interfaces
Yes, as long as the drivers are loaded, multiple interfaces are supported. Slau On Oct 28, 2014, at 12:18 PM, Poppa Bear heavens4r...@gmail.com wrote: I am wondering if PT 11 can run two interfaces? Re: Does pt 11 support moldable interfaces
Hi, In regards to this issue can I have two microphones connected like if I bought another interface and wanted to do a recording using both my digi 003 and another interface with two of the same type of microphones to test how each interface sounds can this process be done with pro tools 11? How would I go about telling pro tools about the different track assignments for the different interfaces? Create an aggregate device in the Audio MIDI Setup and include both interfaces. Select the aggregate device in the Playback Engine. Load the default paths in the I/O Setup dialog. All of your inputs will show up in your assignments pop-up menu. Re: Does pt 11 support moldable interfaces
That reminds me, in OS 10.10 (you know, that one which I still can't spell the name of), I read somewhere that there were improvements made to that empty scroll area that contains the list of devices in AMS. From memory, I think the chap said there was still a bit of unnecessary routing of the mouse and physical clicking to be done, but even that would be a step forward. Wonder whether anyone who's already on 10.10 can verify the change? I haven't seen it mentioned here yet. Re: Does pt 11 support moldable interfaces
Hi Scott, Yes, that was Victor Tsaran who mentioned that. I haven't looked at it yet but I just got a new Yosemite machine yesterday and will have a look soon.
