Re: I need help with Workspace. As anyone used it?
Hi again Luis, I meant to say VO-Shift-M for the context menu. My apologies. Re: I need help with Workspace. As anyone used it?
Hi Luis, I had to use Workspace a lot at one time, and I'm a little rusty now but see whether this helps: Open the default Workspace window. When you type your search-term in the search box, results start appearing gradually, so VO-left and it will give you the number of results. Wait until that stabilises. Now go to the last table in the window and interact. Here you can look down through the results, and if you make a hotspot for the audition button, then you can quickly hear each file. Once you find the one you want, there are two ways to get it into your session. The quick way is to press VO-m for the context menu, then choose "spot to edit insertion". That will only appear on compatible files, but even then you have to be sure it's in the right format. The other more reliable but longer way, is to pick "reveal in finder" and copy it to the audio files in your session, from where you can import it as a clip or new track. I hope that helps a bit. I need help with Workspace. As anyone used it?
Hi folks, happens that I want to design an audio with sound effects, ambient music, like a movie but only with audio. I've a collection too many extensive of sound effects, but I think it's very hard to search, look for each one, import, search, import… and if I need 200 sounds in that audio I couldn't use it, because Protools only supports up to 128 tracks. I've hearing about Workspace, but really I don't know how to use it. If anyone is expert or at least knows something about sound-design or audio-postproduction, could them say me how to manage their libraries, please? I'll be so grateful. Thanks in advance for your answers. Best regards. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
