Re: ProTools Dock for iPad
The Pro Tools Control app looks pretty accessible on my iPad Mini. You need to install the eucon control software on the Mac for this to work. Ronald > Op 16 dec. 2016, om 02:40 heeft J. R. Re: ProTools Dock for iPad
When I took my PT class I tried an early version of this application. I was able to make it work. Was it perfect? Not fully. I could make it do most things but they were lots slower than using a mixing surface. For the sighted people in my class, they loved it. It worked well enough that they were able to do the projects assigned in the PT101 and PT110 classes. I will have to reload PT on my Mac and the iPad and see what it does. Just my two cents worth. J. Re: ProTools Dock for iPad
Whooo! I have an IPad, and as long as the app's free, I'd be happy to try it. I just hope it works with my build of PT. I'm on V12, but I'm not on the absolute most up to date build. I need to pay for my update. Re: ProTools Dock for iPad
Hi Peter, I believe the Dock app is specifically designed to help interface the iPad with the Pro Tools Dock, a hardware controller that includes transport and scrub wheel along with several other dedicated buttons. I'm not sure that it offers any benefit without the hardware surface. ProTools Dock for iPad
Hi All, In the PT Application Manager today I noticed a new app for the iPad called ProTools Dock, which seems to allow the iPad to work as a controller. Has anyone tried this, or does anyone have an iPad to test for accessibility? Best, Peter -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
