Hi Slau, Yes there is some strange behavior with El Capitan! :( I just brought on line my new HDX system with PT 12.3 last night, and one of the first "bugs" encountered was in the "dashboard" trying to navigate to my external FW 800 glyph drive to save the new pt session i just named. until sighted assistance confirmed VoiceOver was not "seeing" that option for saving to different places other than the last location used! Any body else seeing this? Talk soon Chuck On Dec 8, 2015, at 10:18 AM, Slau Halatyn wrote: > Oo, that might have something to do with it. There are two checkboxes in the dashboard window: Select Location and default Location. Make sure the Select Location radio button is on. Re: Ok guys please help: Click II - Test session
Hi Martin, I just opened the session on a laptop using the built-in output and there's no problem with the session. Perhaps there's an issue with your drivers? I truly have no idea what it is. It could be anything. I don't recall, have you gone through all of the system optimization for the OS? Has this problem only started recently? Have you just installed software or upgraded? I haven't seen anything like this and I can't recreate the behavior. Martin, I've downloaded the original session file attachment and opened it directly from the laptop to test something. When I opened it before, it was after I had opened the file from the HD system on the studio computer. I wanted to eliminate any variables that might have influenced the outcome. No issues occurred. One other consideration would be to have someone else on the list try to open it, preferably on a vanilla system as the version on my laptop is also technically PT HD.
