Hi Slau,

 

It’s really a beautiful album.

I just can listen to the preview because that I haven’t subscribed to apple 
music.

As you perhaps remember I’m fron Holland and not anative english speaker. So 
the words may be not realy what I mean, but I can hear and feel that you have 
create it with care and you have payed much attedntion to make it as it is.

Can I find or buy the album somewhere?

Hey Gord,

Yeah, it's on Amazon as well. Look out for a direct email from me off list. The 
Pro Tools Guide for screen Reader Users is coming along. It's a tremendous 
amount of work. All the written portions are complete and there are some 250 
audio examples. I'm about two-thirds of the way through and then need to just 
polish things up. it'll probably be on line by the end of November. Cheers!

Thanks, yeah, it took a lot of self motivation at times when I would have 
rather been at home but that's just the way it goes. If I did my own stuff full 
time, of course, it would never have taken this long. In all fairness, although 
some of the songs were written as long as 20 years ago, the first tracking 
session for this album started in 2015 and then stopped for a couple of years 
for various reasons. I'd pick up a couple of years later, work over the course 
of a year or so and then something else would come up. Other people's projects 
always took precedence and that's as it should be. You'd think that the 
pandemic would have helped matters but I've been busier than ever throughout. 
That said, I did manage to have a nice chunk of time last July to do the vocals 
and then February of this year to mix the whole thing. I'm happy it worked out.

Congrats, just enjoying the first few songs while setting up for todays 
session! I’m reminded that I have only released a handfull of songs from my 
personal projects in the last few years, well done on managing to get the album 
made, even if it was a bit overdue!
