Hi Ramy,
AutoTune has the feature and I've tried it successfully but I normally don't
use the feature but rather use the chromatic setting just to fix a few stray
pitches here and there.

Re: Waves Tune

2018-07-09 Thread Slau Halatyn
I don't use Waves products in general but, for keyboard input of MIDI pitch
data, it's usually a matter of putting the plug-in into a mode where it
receives MIDI note information and uses it to establish a target pitch. Apart
from plug-in settings, of course, the device has to be enabled, input filter
set, etc.

RE: waves tune

2015-03-27 Thread Poppa Bear
Hello Steve, I have used it mostly in the same way, by selecting audio and
applying the effect to the selection through the audio sweet versus placing the
plugin on an insert. One way to see if you are making changes is to copy audio
to another track, apply the change with Wave tune to one of the tracks and then
do a side by side comparison by muting one or the other of the tracks. If you
find the values changing in the controls then you are making changes. I use a
control surface to make changes in the parameters.

cool man. I guess the main question is did you get it to work. if so, how
accessible did you find it. some have said that it used to be in accessible. I
can seem to get to the controls of the plugin if i apply it to the track
through audio sweet.
not sure if i have all the controls. The thing is, when i select a key, and
then go to process audio, it doesn’t seem to change things much, But i think
it’s doing something, But i I’ve played with things like scale, and range, also
pitch position.
Any information on waves tune from anyone would be very much appreciated.

I will concidder autotune if waves tune does not work.

better to invest in antares.
I’m not necessarily after the auto tune effect. Just need good retuning.

 Hi Steve,
It blows AT away for sound quality!
Not sure about pt 11 but pt 9.03 version has one green button that is
 invisible to vO.
Michael Pearson-Adams from Waves myself spent a couple of hours on it
several years ago here at my studio.
Thats how I know it wipes up the floor against AT for sound quality
 Its very transparent!
It will be interesting to know if pt 11 has fixed that 1 button to apply the
 correction change?
 YMMV

it’s on sale at the moment for $99. anyone know if it’s accessible, and
secondly if it does the job. Certainly cheaper than autotune if it works.
